God has a heart for children, especially the fatherless. Part of Highland’s DNA is reflecting God’s heart through our ministries to children. We believe children mean the world to God, and we want to be a church for children. Our Adoption and Foster Care Ministry is one way we demonstrate God’s love for our little ones.
The adoption and foster care ministry provides funds, resources, and wrap-around support to adoptive and foster parents as well as parents who are considering adopting or fostering. Our goal is to walk with parents and families by being supportive and directing them to helpful resources.
We help current and potential adoptive and foster parents with financial resources. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you need financial assistance, we would love to help. Contact a ministry leader to get the process started.
Parenting takes a village, and we want to help any way we can. We support current and potential adoptive and foster parents with resources such as education, counseling, coaching, emotional and spiritual support, meals, respite services, childcare, and other services as needed. We want families to know Highland is a safe place. Contact a ministry leader if there’s anything we can do to help you.
There are numerous ways you can serve adoptive and foster parents and their children. You can be a mentor. You can provide supplies and gifts. You can provide a meal. You can offer your services and skills. You can participate in our Red Tub event at Christmas. You can donate gift cards or cash. Contact a ministry leader for more information on ways you can volunteer and serve these amazing families.
