God has a heart for children, especially the fatherless. Part of Highland’s DNA is reflecting God’s heart through our ministries to children. We believe children mean the world to God, and we want to be a church for children. Our Adoption and Foster Care Ministry is one way we demonstrate God’s love for our little ones.

The adoption and foster care ministry provides funds, resources, and wrap-around support to adoptive and foster parents as well as parents who are considering adopting or fostering. Our goal is to walk with parents and families by being supportive and directing them to helpful resources.

Highland Provides 3 Key Things:

Financial Assistance

We help current and potential adoptive and foster parents with financial resources. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you need financial assistance, we would love to help. Contact a ministry leader to get the process started.

Support

Parenting takes a village, and we want to help any way we can. We support current and potential adoptive and foster parents with resources such as education, counseling, coaching, emotional and spiritual support, meals, respite services, childcare, and other services as needed. We want families to know Highland is a safe place. Contact a ministry leader if there’s anything we can do to help you.

FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION WRAP MINISTRY

We are launching an initiative within our Foster Care and Adoption ministry called WRAP.  We want to wrap families who foster and adopt with all the support they need.  This will include providing meals, providing essential items for children entering foster care, learning the stories of foster and adopted children here at Highland, and providing encouragement to these families.  If you are interested in being a part of this group that walks along side of those that are fostering or adopting please sign up below.
