The Rising is designed to be a refuge for students from all over the city. HYG opens its doors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays during the school year for food and fun. We offer food such as Chick-Fil-A nuggets, Domino’s pizza, salad, soft drinks, and milkshakes at a low cost. Students can eat, play video games or sports, and hang out with friends and mentors. We gather together from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. for exciting worship and a lesson designed to encourage and challenge. We want The Rising to be a time when students are empowered and equipped to make God the focal point of their lives. And we want it to be fun!
